Big Church Stories

Have any of you ever been sitting in “Big Church” and thought how am I going to survive sitting through this sermon with a preschooler? Or has your preschooler ever done something that one day you hoped you could laugh about? Well here is your chance to share and pass on some of those funny and not so funny moments you have had in “Big Church” with your preschooler.

We are coming up on our next promotion for all new 4 year olds at FBC to start worshiping with their parents. Exciting for some but  scary for others. Share those experiences and pass along to others. I can not wait to hear from everyone! Elisa Oglesby

Two Sunday Schools

Have you heard? We are going to two Sunday schools – one at 9:30 and one at 11. We are so excited about the opportunity for growth that this presents to our church. That’s right, you will be able to choose from 3 services and 2 SS hours. The services will be the same – a classic worship service at 8:15, a high energy service at 9:30, and a blended service at 11. Then, the two Sunday school hours will be identical so that your child will get the same lesson no matter which hour they attend.

So, where will you be going?

Mom’s Lunch

Don’t forget that there is a lunch on Tuesday for moms. It is at Janet’s house (3111 80th) from 11:00-1:00. Come from work or from home, with or without your children (we are trying to arrange to have a couple of childcare workers there to help us with the little ones.)

Please feel free to bring friends, too. Invite your friends who don’t have a church home – this might be an entry point into church for them.
